Recently news came on ill management of the exam, but TCS confirmed that they will be providing an extra time slot for those who face interruption while giving an exam.
But this is not only the issue, there are a lot of glitches in the exam conducting platform. In fact, it is sometimes unfair for many candidates to let me give you a brief detail.
First of all their are two choices for giving the exam either coding or non-coding. If you have chosen non-coding then you have to give an exam in three-part in respective sequence Numerical, verbal, reasoning. and if you opted for coding then an additional two-portion added basic understanding of array, coding question. In coding questions, you are allowed to code in C, C++, Java, Python, Perl.
But I will strongly suggest you, Don't choose Python. Here are the main reason for not choosing Python:
- You are not provided indent in the interpreter and You know what it means for you.
- You cannot copy or reuse the code. Warning if you do so all your code will vanishes and you have to write it again.
- No suggestion, many of you are depended on it, but this is for all language
- Tata test the patience of the candidate, they have made the platform so bulky that it cannot handle few candidates.
- The speed of the internet doesn't matter a lot. Some of my friends have given it in 200-300kbps speed and many can't even with 150Mbps speed. So don't worry about that. if you have luck then all will be good.
- You are not allowed to use paper for rough work. They will be providing an on-screen notepad and through this, they want to check your typing skill. just kidding.
- This one will shake your mind, you have no option to jump into the next question before solving the previous one. Are you kidding TCSion? This means what if a candidate gets a few easy questions and if someone gets many tough at first. The first person will easily solve many while the second will stuck in the same and may not get time for some easy question.
- Now this one is most disastrous, even though you have completed one section fast, you are not allowed to utilized those time in the next section. You have to wait until the timer count is over. Are you kidding? if someone is good in verbal and not in reasoning then he can utilize it. what do you want an allrounder or a person who is can manage time.
Lol true that.
