 If you are a regular user of any E-commerce website or if you are a new user these tips will be of great use while exchanging any product in E-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopclue, etc.

So if you are reading this blog then I am sure you have order something in an exchange offer. Many time you might have heard that delivery person check things and point some defect in your item and thus decline the offer or pay a very less amount of money.


 


What if I suggest to you some tips that will make the delivery exchanges successful.  So read the blog till the end. 

First of all, decide what the things you are going to exchange. Generally Mobile for mobile or Laptop for Laptop. Majorly these things are exchanged. But this tip is for all.

Let us take an example of a mobile, generally mobile is used for 1 - 2 year maximum; in these super-fast tech days. And buying a new phone having the previous one is not efficient. If you are a regular buyer who just updates your phone on 6-month then here are tips to be noted before applying for exchange. 


  1. Before applying for the exchange offer see the current value of the smartphone. As if it is just 6 months then it can fetch you a good amount selling in OLX. Generally, there are many people who are looking for second-hand items. 
  2. If your item's current price is low, then it is better to apply for exchange. Generally, exchange prices are less but you can sustain with that amount.
  3. It is generally seen if the person has box packed and having a warranty card they exchange within no time. If you don't have a box you can don't worry with a slight check it will exchange just by your warranty card. 
  4. Now here comes the main trouble if you don't have all this item. Then make sure that your device is having no dent, no screen damage, no color tempered.  All ports should be working properly.
  5. You should have the IMEI NO. because it is asked in while filling the detail. If you don't know how to find IMEI no. you can ask it in the comment section.

  7. Make sure to not feel the wrong information as they will decline the Exchange at first if you fill in the wrong information.
  8. For especially mobile, if you have an exchangeable battery then just exchange it with a new one. It will reduce the screen pop up. many times I got a complaint about the pop-up issues due to which a successful exchange not happen.
  9. This is just simple advice which will work sometimes. If you have a glass cover then just remove it. It will make it easy to convince the delivery person as it will look new.
  10. This is the last tip, which I am sure will work for you. You should go with your friends or tech guys because seeing you alone he will somehow manage to decline and give you false reason. If you have 3-4 friends it will be easy to convince them. make sure you record all the processes it will give you the upper hand if you again raise complain over the exchange.


Make sure to format and erase all content from the device including password and backup. It will make the process shorter and you will not have to stay there for a long time.
